Took two tries, but all good!

Replacement for an older AO Smith unit. Apart from realigning water connections, it was a straight swap. After trying and trying and trying, the first replacement was determined to be faulty over the phone with AO Smith. They offered a new gas valve or a new unit. New unit was shipped..took a week, but Supply House sped up their warranty process a bit. 2nd unit did the same thing as the first, but after trying and retrying, etc., it eventually fired and order was returned to the universe...after a week of hot water heated on the stove top.
