[Incentivized Review] The Eemax was the perfect solution to my dilemma.

A problem that has plagued me since I purchased my house 15 years ago has finally been solved by the Model 12004 120-volt 3.5 kilo-watt .9-GPM Eemax Electric Tankless Water Heater. The powder room in my house is over 75 feet from the central hot water heater for the house. As a result, whenever you need hot water in the powder room you had to allow enough time (over a minute) for the hot water to reach the faucet, and the winter temperatures would make matters worse. Compounding my problem is that the powder room is small with very limited space for installing any additional equipment. Also, I did not want to install an auxiliary hot water tank and have to maintain a tank full of hot water 24/7 for the occasional use of the powder room. In addition, I did not want to run a separate 240-volt power line to power the heater. The Eemax was the perfect solution to my dilemma. It is small enough to fit comfortably in the bottom cabinet of the small vanity, it uses 110 volts which was already available in the powder room and being tankless it does not waste energy maintaining a tank of heated water. Heating the water when it is needed was a much more simplistic and efficient way to go. Using flexible water heater hoses made the installation extremely easy with no special tools required. The unit is compact, stylish, easy to adjust, lightweight, and energy conserving. My only suggestion is that more time should have been spent on designing/writing the manual. For example, the manual should have more detail concerning the electrical hook up. It would have been helpful to have a diagram of the inside of the unit with an explanation of how to open the unit to connect the power. Any reasonably intelligent person could figure this out, but a manual would have eliminated some guess work and uncertainty. This is a very application dependent product. Just remember the unit is not meant for high volume, high rate water systems, but for the proper application this unit is outstanding and comes with my highest recommendation..!
