[Incentivized Review] Not suitable for Residential use
November 15, 2019 — sje · Review provided by lowes.com — 2/5I purchased this tankless water heater thinking I could save space in my small awkward laundry/mud room and also not have the high install costs of gas. Come to find out this electric heater requires the use of 150amps when in use. I have 200amp service to my small 1,080sqft home (which is a lot of power to a small house) and my electrician said it wasn't compatible/I wouldn't be able to run anything thing else in my house if I installed this heater. I did further research to only find that most electric hot water heaters require a high amp with a high enough Gallons per minute rating to cover multiple water sources to be hot at once. I purchased this one for the price, value and high ratings. But sadly it fell short of my expectations. Please note I never installed this item so this review is not on it's true function. I'm just trying to save home owners the hassle of a return/headache trying to figure out how to go tankless
