Decent heater works good for first 3 months.

May 26, 2021Bob E · Review provided by noritz.com4/5

The electronic control board of our prior unit failed and caused us to look for a replacement. The local water heater specialty strongly suggested the Noritz. As we were without hot water and wanted an installation quickly we agreed. Replacement was quick. As this is an outdoor unit we had an issue of condensation building up behind the outer panel dripping on pipe insulation below. To mitigate this the installer added a piece of pcp tubing to extend from the hole in the unit bottom to near the concrete, bypassing the insulated piping. The remote temperature control is very difficult to master. The instructions do not match the steps required to change water temperature. A bit of trial and error was required.
