recirculation pump
October 17, 2024 — Eiche18984 · Review provided by lowes.com — 3/5i like hot water on demand, not heating the tank, which is in the coldest room in the house al the tim. What i do not like is the recirculation pump it cam on 8900 times in 6 weeks. We did the teaching 24 hour cycle and after that the pump would be off for 4 minutes and came back on for 28 sec up to 90 sec. it would start at 6 am until midnight. Called the company that installed the unit, which was awesome. Nice and clean and i did not even know they were there. Need a new card i was told, waiting for it .Also the unit was leaking water it turned out it was condensation from the air intake. tech came in installed a drain with a water trap . without the circulation pump i am waisting a gallon of water when i take a shower before the water is warm. I am wondering if i should get the control module with a push button. this way i would have water when i needed. Otherwise the unit keeps up with three showers and i am happy with the extra space in the facility room.
