Stiebel Eltron DHC-E 8/10-2 Plus (202145) Tankless Electric Water Heater

Probably one of the best purchases we've made for our home.

We replaced a 30-gallon gas water heater with this tiny point-of-use tankless electric heater. Electricians wired the heater to power on Monday, March 4th, and it is working great! We are using it to heat water for our kitchen and laundry room (we have a 40-gallon gas heater for the bathrooms). Our kitchen sink and dishwasher are only 10 ft. from the heater, the washing machine is right outside its closet. It takes no longer to get hot water than it did with the gas tank-type heater. A side benefit is that we now have considerable extra storage space in a closet that, for 59 years, has housed only a water heater.
