I bought a unit like this about four years ago and it has worked great, but even after annual cleanings with strong vinegar it began to lose hot water flow. I am selling my house, so I bought this as a replacement. I began reading the installation manual to refresh my memory and found a small segment that tells about a tiny filter on the inlet that needs to be "cleaned periodically". (After four years who would have remembered that). So I pulled the filter and sure enough some small rubber bits had migrated into the filter. After cleaning, tada, full pressure. So I returned the new one and saved myself several hundred dollars. Don't forget to clean the filter if you lose pressure.
